It is all too easy in this world to let our suffering go unspoken. Between the demands of productivity through work or school, the roles we play in our personal relationships, and a society that is constantly flooding us with images of who we should be and products promising to get us there, it is difficult to find our own voice. Instead, we often become mired in anxiety, depression, addictions, and other unhealthy patterns of being in the world that disrupt our capacity to live the life we envision. Some of us even become so stuck that we stop allowing ourselves to search for something different.
Yet there is hope. For over a decade now I have had the privilege of witnessing countless transformations of the human spirit, people from all sorts of walks of life courageously facing their suffering and creating lasting change. I have worked with people from a variety of ages, cultural backgrounds, and sexual and gender identities, facing anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, severe mental illness, and even those simply dissatisfied with life. And while many perpetually thirst for something different, beginning the process can be incredibly daunting. I am here to help.
As a clinician my style is genuine, warm, and curious. My training includes over 10 years of studying, practicing, and integrating both contemporary evidence-based interventions, and classical psychoanalytic and spiritual models of the human experience. I believe, however, that everyone’s path to healing is unique. I work collaboratively with each individual to co-create a relationship that is safe, attuned, and reflective, and holds the potential for you to make peace with the truth of your existence. If you believe I could be a good fit to work with you, please reach out. Looking forward to hearing from you.
In-person therapy offers the vital connection so often missing in today's virtual world. So much so, that many believe nothing beats seeing your therapist and being seen by your therapist in the flesh. To that end I intentionally designed my office to serve as a warm and intuitive container for us, as we form a living and breathing professional relationship that hopefully leads you to insight, peace, and transformation. My office is located at 12 Gear St, #205 San Francisco, CA 94104. I look forward to seeing you there.
