I work with a ride range of clients, including those suffering with depression, anxiety, trauma (PTSD), treatment resistant variations of all of these disorders, and many forms of suffering. I work with those hoping to improve their relationships. I also work with those hoping to grow in many aspects of their lives. I work with therapists training to become ketamine therapists, both as a supervisor in their clinical work, as well as for their interest in personal growth in order to be able to most effectively offer this modality.
Therapy is a co-creative process where we together find your inner healing intelligence, as we say in the ketamine-assisted therapy world. As we explore your inner world, we will discover how you were able to access this most easily, whether it is through mindfulness/Semitic, somatic experience, imagination, role-play, among many other possibilities. This work is very exciting, I look forward to seeing where it takes me with each individual, couple, and family who comes to see me.
Devon Cortright has offered ketamine-assisted psychotherapy for the last several years and trains other psychotherapists in this modality. In addition, he has practiced psychotherapy for more than 10 years. He works with adults, couples, and adult families in San Francisco. He is an author and speaker. He recently published his new book on psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy research called Psychedelics Through the Eyes of the Masters.
I offer in person therapy, as well as house visits as a Concierge Psychologist.
In person therapy is profoundly enlivening. Becoming a lost art form, so much can happen in the magic of this space. It helps keep me enthusiastic for this work. The founder Dr. James Norwood has a truly beautiful articulation of many aspects that make this form of therapy so important, which I recommend you read, if you haven't had a chance to yet.
